Building Management

One of UPB’s areas of special expertise is the streamlined management of apartment buildings. UPB fully understands that apartment buildings are complex, intricate organisms. Under the visible structure lie many “hidden” elements: water and electrical infrastructure, elevator equipment and control rooms, fire sprinklers and alarms, boiler and air conditioning systems, laundry rooms and common spaces. At UPB, we know what makes buildings tick. We have extensive experience working with building staff, private companies, and government agencies to ensure that problems are fixed, bills paid, and violations cleared. We collect rent promptly, and work sensitively but resolutely to prevent tenants from slipping into arrears. We make sure the heat comes on and the water flows. UPB does not conceive of buildings as mere “management projects.” Rather, in putting the human element at the center of our business model, we understand fully that a building consists of residents who call it their home.
